معاني الأذكار

This is a brief and pleasant excerpt on the meanings of the Islamic remembrances (adhkar), selected from the Prophetic hadiths, so that the one who recites them may understand what their tongue utters, thus polishing their heart and mind with remembrance. For there is nothing more beneficial for the servant’s heart, nor more saving from the punishment of Allah, than the remembrance of Allah. It is not befitting for the one who remembers to neglect the meanings of what their tongue utters, for remembrance is prescribed to dispel heedlessness and is intended for the life of the heart.
