In our modern era, some raise the banner of distorting religious texts under various slogans, all of which share the common goal of altering Allah’s religion and restructuring Islam to align with contemporary realities. Sometimes they raise the slogan of renewing Islamic thought, other times they call for renewing religious discourse, and today they advocate for multiple interpretations and demand a re-reading of religious texts. They claim to offer a new interpretation of Islam that keeps pace with the developments and changes of the times. This book discusses the importance of submitting to and accepting religious texts, highlighting the approach of the righteous predecessors (Salaf) towards these texts. It addresses the stance of those who oppose religious texts and the call for new interpretations of them. Additionally, the book explores the consequences of contemporary readings of religious texts.
