Allah Almighty created the soul and what is within it, and placed within it subtleties and secrets that indicate His Oneness, such as love and hate, anger and satisfaction, inclination and aversion, boldness and hesitation, and all other feelings and sensations that affect the soul. The Muslim inclines towards good and refrains from evil, especially in this era where temptations have increased and desires have intensified. Therefore, a Muslim must have restraints that prevent him from falling into them and help him stand firm against them.
